I bought this Dell 'Inspiron Gaming' desktop for what seemed like a good price. I've since side-graded the RX 580 for a GTX 970 and also added a GTX 1050 Ti (for GPU passthrough.) This is all way too much for the included wimpy 460w PSU.
At first I tried a Rosewill RV2-600 PSU. It fit perfectly and didn't overheat, but then the fan started making noises. Then I tried a Corsair TX750v2. It was a bear to install and doesn't fit perfectly, and cable management is a nightmare. But it does power everything. But I'd like a PSU that fits, doesn't have unneeded wires going everywhere, and can power the two GPUs I have installed. The case is odd in that it has a narrow hole for the power socket and switch. Some have modded the case to accept any generic ATX PSU, but I'd like to preserve my warranty if possible. Any suggestions?
